Office Stationery Online

We started Evolve Office back in February 2009 and thought that it was going to be an "easy way" of making money, selling office supplies online to the masses of internet browsers.

After a lot of expense and giving up well paid jobs it is apparent that it is not that easy! It has taken a lot of work, time and heartache to achieve what we have and we are still nowhere near where we need to be.

We have had years of experience supplying Businesses locally with office products but always wanted to go National. The Internet is the ideal solution, but how do you market over 20,000 offie products especially when everybody else who can get an account with Spicers or VOW are trying the same thing!

A good way, so we thought, was to register with as many online directories as we could and listen what SEO companies have to offer, pick their brains and try a out a few of the snippets of info we had gleaned from these conversations.

We tried this and after a while we were for one day only, first page on Google for the search term "office stationery colchester."

It was short lived because the following day our URL had gone from Google's index and we don't know why or how to rectify the situation. Over a year of late nights burning the midnight oil has been for nothing so it seems.

We have taken advice and have been told there is nothing we can do but wait for a month or so and see what happens.

We still love online stationery but if nobody can find us online is the Internet the way forwardfor us?
